Load-bearing capacity is the primary consideration in the design. Engineers need to calculate the number of machines and the load per square meter at the initial design stage.
2.Office Steel Platform
Its load is mainly calculated based on the weight of personnel and office supplies, with a standard design load of 150 to 200 kilograms per square meter. H-beams and I-beams are commonly used for columns and main beams, while the floor can be paved with wooden boards or floor tiles. Handrails around 1 meter high can be installed as required by the site conditions.
3.Production Workshop Steel Platform
The design takes full account of the number of staff, weight of mechanical equipment and production materials. Its load capacity ranges from 200 to 600 kilograms per square meter. The floor is mostly made of concrete cast on profiled steel sheets or patterned steel plates.
Higher load-bearing requirements call for larger foundations and steel materials, which will accordingly increase the overall cost. All platforms must comply with national building safety standards and shall never be installed arbitrarily. 4.Maintenance Walkway Steel Platform
Designed as a standby passage for maintenance work, it has a standard load of around 70 kilograms per square meter, merely supporting a small number of workers and maintenance tools. This type usually requires no independent columns and is connected to the original building directly via steel beams, with steel ladders configured for access.
5.Warehouse Material Storage Steel Platform
Steel structure platforms are most widely used in warehouses and logistics areas for goods storage. The specification of foundations, columns, main beams and secondary beams is determined according to the weight of stored materials. The floor options include concrete on profiled steel sheets, wooden boards and patterned steel plates.
